Sweet Chex Mix, preserved in the Brown Family Cookbook 2020.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups corn chex
  • 4 cups rice chex
  • 1 (6oz) package slivered almonds
  • 1 cup white Karo syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¾ cup butter

Method

    Mix cereal and almonds together in large bowl. In a saucepan, bring Karo syrup, sugar, and butter to a rolling boil; cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour over cereal and stir until well coated. Pour out on wax paper to cool.
